Some boy named Kenny and his brother posted youtube vids of them beating their cat. Both boys are charged and more info + uneditted footage can be found at kenny-glenn.net

video format is mp4, so ya need extensions, ipods, psp, or a converter, or media player classic.

What those boys did was terrible, but what pissed me off more were the sheriff's comments(see link), with the special BS voice reserved for the media, he should be more worried by rapists. Oh, and the parents' phone numbers are there too.

There are worse things happening, so many of them, at any given moment, and it blows my mind that you care about this more than any of the currently occurring atrocities just because this includes furry animals.

Yeah what they did was horrible and wrong..but that goes on all the time. Most just aren't dumb enough to post it on the internet.

You can't call animals property and then turn around and give them rights. What next, plants have feelings to so they should be given rights? (Cue... Switzerland, I think? Some European country that decided plants should have rights). They've obviously got problems and should be put into therapy concerning their violent tendencies, yeah, but come on. It's a cat. I don't cry when I step on an ant either.

This is old. I've seen both videos, and while it seems dramatic, it's just a cat. The kid was a douchebag but /b/ took care of him.

If it had been any other animal we wouldn't have cared it's just cause of /b/'s obsession with cats.
I, personally, hate cats. They're stuck up. But that doesn't mean what those kids did was right. I've seen worse things done to a cat before, including tying fireworks to each of it's legs and watching it explode. Nothing happened the guys who did that.

It isn't even that bad. Half the time he is basically slapping at the cat.

Although it is wrong, it isn't like he is slicing and dicing the feline, now is he? Screw it, there are bigger fish to fry in this world.
