Well, the truth is, there -was- some good rap, but then it went south... quickly... like on some sort of rocket train.

Anyways, rap could've had some potential, but then It just started sucking.

To all you people who say "rap sucks"-that is a statement. You should be expressing your opinions. Just because you think rap sucks it doesn't mean it does suck, that is your opinion! If you don't like rap just state your opinion! It's simple just say: "I think rap sucks".

Personally, I really can't stand listening to rap. But everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

I do however, respect the early rappers. They created the music as something real. As a way of expressing their suffering and emotions. Now, rap (as well as the rest of the modern music industry) is too fake for my tastes.
