It's not necessary. It's not like the forums would collapse without it. However, it's nice to have a specific place to talk about this kind of thing. People are going to talk about it one way or another, this just gives them a place to do it.

If you think about it, no forums are neccesary, if we only did what was neccesary XGen wouldn't exist.

This is the story behind this Forum.

Aqualung came up with the idea of a Music Club, and I took the idea further to be a Classic Rock Club. I talked to Skye about it, and he liked the idea, I guess, but I PMed him about it, and he threw out the idea of just making a music Forum. So, He just made it.

Plus, there's a lot going on with music right now. (hint: RIAA)
