And you still wonder why the right to own guns is in desperate need of some revision? People were shooting guns in public to celebrate (welcome to the 18th century, ladies and gentlemen!) and managed to get a bullet into the diaper of a baby. Wow.

I was under the impression that the bullet hadn't beed fired and somehow fell into the diaper because some guy was too drunk to reload properly. A bullet free-falling into a baby's diaper without actually harming it? o.O

I thought it just ate a bullet and pooped it out. If that ain't the case, then someone could have just stuck the bullet in the diaper. Assuming there were other kids there, they could have just done it to be #######s. I highly doubt a bullet could land in a diaper any other way without being more obvious.

Wow, looks like a hollow point since well... that front doesnt taper down. And since it hasn't mushroomed it means it really didn't hit anything significant.
It could have very well been fired up in the air, began to fall, reached terminal velocity, and landed down the baby's back into the diaper where it was cusioned by the soft diaper (amung other possible things).

Neat. That sounds like a geniun possibility. Rediculously unlikely, but plausible I think.

Okay, Mythbuster. But, at terminal velocity, a bullet will dig into the ground, which is harder than a baby's bottom. It should've done some damage, at least a bruise on the baby.

There is no way the bullet could have just fell into the diaper without hurting the baby. I think the bullet landed in a pack of diapers and the baby's mother wasn't paying attention and put it on the baby.

That's what I was thinking. If the bullet came in the casing like the image in the article seems to suggest, it may have been lying around (perhaps one of the partiers hadn't loaded it into a clip), and the baby put it in its mouth and swallowed. And it would go through the digestive system.

There wouldn't be heavy metal poisoning either, if the casing was still intact -- all that would be present in the baby's body would be copper, while the lead core would be sealed off from the digestive system. Copper isn't very toxic.

Okay guys, I know exactly what happened.

The baby was a alien, you get me? And he somehow got the person to shoot the gun, and he magicly teleported the bullet up his ass because it made him feel good. Then, he made a paradox happen, so there was a bullet in his diaper and a bullet up his ass at the same exact time.
