Guitar Hero guitar vs Rock Band Guitar

Personally i always play with the Guitar Hero guitar because even though the RB2 guitar isnt as bad as the RB one, the strum bar is still crappy and the buttons are still to far apart.

Hey, be happy you can at least play with the RB2 guitar. The RB1 guitar strumbar will break within a month after buying it.

yes i would have to agree with you , i like playing with the guitar hero guitar for all the reasons you said and guitar hero has more experiance building guitar games :D

I dont play either i seriously play guitar i have a raptor plus i wont to get a gibson some sort of custom with a checkered body and a rosewood fret board. and my friend has guitar hereo and rock band they both suck lol jk gh is better to me.through fire and flames sucks ballz not even a good song

Eh, I'd have to say Rock Band merely because I have no experience with it. Neutrality due to ignorance is more positive than my disliking of Guitar Hero through what I've seen of it. I really hate the music in Guitar Hero, and I also dislike how the game is difficult usually because of a difficult controller and fast note repetition. I'll take easy controls with more difficult music (with 7 falling note positions instead of 5) any old day.

Guitar Hero guitars are better because their buttons, and overall hardware are sturdier, not to mention the buttons actually... work. Rock Band guitars are just better looking.

It's really ironic how Guitar Hero guitars and Drum sets are better, but in terms of the actual gameplay, songs, and graphics... RB takes the cake.

They are quite similar but I am more used to the Guitar Hero guitar. So, thar goes my vote.

Although I own RockBand, I'm sure GH's Guitar is better. But I could care less because I don't know anyone who bought RockBand just because of the Guitar. Drums are where it's at.

Every Harmonix game sucks. GH:III and GH:IV are the only good ones.

I like the Rock Band guitar. What I don't like about the GH controller is that the buttons are actually SPACED APART. If you go play real guitar (or bass, in my case), you can put your finger ANYWHERE and it will make a note, regardless of whether or not it's in the middle of two frets or against one. Also, I'm used to having wider-spaced buttons because I play bass, where the frets are much more spaced out.
Also, RB guitar is a hell of a lot quieter.
