I was bored, so i thought it would be fun to make a post where people could think up new characters. This is just for fun, but try to be a little serious. Dont make something that has a million health or an instant kill all units attack.
Here is one i came up with....
Name: Soldier
Health: 120
Speed: Normal
Sight: Normal
Base Damage: 30
Description: The backbone of any army. These versatile troops are designed to handle any situation. Their spear has more reach then other melee weapons and they have mastered ranged, healing, and defensive capabilities.
Physical Description: A normal sized unit with a helmet, a sheild in the left hand, and a spear in the left.
Ability: Phalanx: From the front, it reduces damage by 60% and prevents assination. cost 30 mana
Moves: Spear Throw: Throws his spear(about the distance of the mages freeze) to deal 35 damage. cost 50 mana
First Aid: Heals a friendly unit for 30 health. cost 40 mana
Strong Stab: Deals 45 damage. cost 50 mana
Name: Martyr
Health: 50
Speed: High
Sight: Medium
Base Damage: 5
Strategy: Loyal to the brotherhood yet too weak to protect it but can turn the favour of a battle with it's kamikaze attack... if it isn't dead already.
Physical Description: Standard helmet and brotherhood uniform, similar to the knight but much smaller. Only distinguishable (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/distinguishable) features are the giant bombs strapped ontp it's limbs, hooked up to a detonater in his hand.
Normal attack - Melee Attack: Inflicts 5 damage by thumping the enemy unit with the base of the detonater. Costs 0 mana.
Ability - Kamikaze attack: Activates detonater causing a blast with a range equal to the Rogue's bolas inflicting 50 damage to all units including itself. Costs 40 mana.
Researched Ability - Resolve: Reduces damage done to self and friendly units with the Kamikaze attack to 25. Range is equal to Knight's battle cry. Effect lasts 4 turns. Costs 20 mana.
*Kamikaze attack does 50 damage regardless of battle cry.
Name: Zombie
Health: 120
Speed: Low
Sight: Low
Base Damage: 25
Strategy: Slow yet durable. The zombie is the collection of the spirits of ancient fallen brotherhood members. Great support unit.
Description: A quite large unit, almost the size of a knight. Has a hunched back and wears only the cloth of the brotherhood and boots. Its skin is colourless and decrepit.
Normal attack - Melee Attack: Inflicts 25 damage by slashing the enemy unit with it's claw. Costs 0 mana.
Normal attack - Soul Drain: Sticks claws into foe and drains a quarter of it's remaining health and mana. Costs 35 mana.
Normal attack - Acid: Spits acid at enemy unit causing 15 damage a turn for 3 turns. Cannot stack. Has the range of the mages normal magic blast. Costs 20 mana.
Ability - Awakening: Calls forth the surrounding dead for 1 turn with a quarter of their mana and health. Has a range of the rangers ranged attack. Costs 50 mana.
Researched Ability - Scream: Causes all nearby enemy units to do 50% damage and take 200% damage for the duration of both player's turns. Has a range of the mages fireball. Costs 100 mana.

Ability: Reboot:Heals 100 health. cost 100 mana
Moves: Rocket launcher: Fires a rocket about the distance of fireball that deals 40 the target and 30 damage to the area around the target. costs 80 mana
Chain gun: Fires bullets that hit for 35 damage. costs 40 mana
Flamethower: Puts an enemy on fire dealing 20 damage and gives the burn status dealing 10 damage for 5 turns. If the unit is healed or frozen it wears off. Has a small range. costs 50 mana
Shotgun: Deals 30 damage and can hit multiple units if they are side by side. costs 30 mana
*note, when you kill it you hear "ill be back"

Description: Lightly armored unit that can charge into battle quickly and finish off his dying enemies with a final lethal blow. Although he is extremely skilled with his axe, his light armor makes him vulnerable. Usually used to take mines quickly, and deal heavy damage once the fight has begun to finish off enemy units.
Ability: Charge, which allows him extra travelling distance for the next round 30 mana
Ability: Taunt, target loses his concentration and is stripped of 40 mana.
Research ability: Final blow, Kill any enemy who is already injured with a single blow. 100 mana

Description: A kitten with my face morphed onto it.
Strategy: Its small versitile body makes it able to squeeze into tighter spaces than that of the mage. Great to use as a scout or for an ambush.
Normal Attack: Kitten Klawz -- A flurry of cat scratches that result in 20 dmg. [0 mana]
Mana Attack: Cat Scratch Fever -- A deep scratch that deals 69 dmg. [70 mana]
Ability: Purr -- Allows you good eyesight (that of an archer without scout) for 3 turns. [30 mana]
Research ability: Watz -- When you're about to attack an enemy use Watz to perform Kitten Klawz and move again ( can't attack but you can defend). [60 mana]
Another Research ability ( because I'm that awesome XD ) : Meow -- Enemies do not attack due to your irresistable guiltless face. Leaves you invincible for 2 turns. [100 mana]
*Note: You cannot gain mana while Meow is activated.
*Note: Both research abilities for Pwnd.XD™ only cost 150 ( so it will equal 300 if you buy both nawmeen? )

Description: looks like a ghost of a rouge floats above the ground
Normal attack: slam -_|\ leaps at the target deals 10 DMG steals 20 mana
mana attack: slash -_|\ takes a large sword out and slashes the opponent deals 60 DMG costs 60 mana
second mana attack: -_|\pulls our a large sword and throws it at the enemy deals 45 DMG costs 30 mana
third mana attack: FREEZE-_|\ sends shock waves of cold air pushing all units around it back as far as the mages attack but also slows their movement down by half and destroys half of their mana costs 100 mana.
purchasable skill: AZUNATED! you turn into a giant wraith and steal all the mana of the units on screen(including yours) being a wraith last for 3 turns
second purchasable skill: (im better then pwnd). dispersion only usable while being a wraith. explodes and give 10 plus mana for 5 turns only to your units. costs full mana and health.
would have put more but i thought that was to many any way....

Description: A large slender undead warrior in full plate armour, armed with EXCALIBUR.
Strategy: Moving fast considering he's both undead and weighed down, Sir Chandestroy is a juggernaut. He has little diversity in attacks but is still a tough and loyal to the brotherhood. He has a great strength in melee combat, but a great weakness against rangers as well.
Normal attack: Swing -- a large diagonal swing with his blade, has good melee range. [0 mana]
Ability: Rusty nails -- pulls rusty nails from his skull and throws them at you giving you tetanis. Deals 10 damage and continually damages for 5 every turn. [60 mana]
Research ability: Awaken -- summons a bone archer with 50 health doing a basic arrow shot with 20dmg.

pwnd a little suggestion on the research ability. you should make it he summons it frm the grave of an existing warrior(only usable on your graves)

second mana attack:ram-_|\ slams its back into an opponent launches them backward deals 50 DMG. costs 70 mana
purchasable ability: meteor shower |_+_/||||\_+_| attacks a large area but can only attack an area near diablo deals 60 DMG to everything(all sides). costs 100 mana and stops Regen of all your units regen for 3 turns.

Azunaki if I took your suggestion, it would be just like the priest's resurrect ability. Plus summoning random skeletons where ever you are is always cool.
I was going to do a necromancer...
Oh and for Azun you should increase the cost of the one where he throws his sword since its like the other attack except 20 less mana, only 10 decrease in attack and is ranged.
Oh and since your all doing yourselves, so will I!

Decription: Slightly taller than an archer and wears a black cloak with his flag symbol on the back and has a long straight sword with a curved point sheathed on his left side.
Normal attack - Melee Attack - Gently pokes enemy chest with index finger.
Normal attack - Aura Blast - Sends one enemy back 3 times further than shockwave and slows his movement by a half for a turn. No range. Costs 30 mana.
Normal attack - Dispel - Creates a blast around himself that eliminates all effects of all units including invisibility, protect, battle cry, scout, ressurect, bolas, freeze, Rusty Nails, Awaken, Fight Stance, Azunated, FREEZE, Purr, Meow, Charge, Flamethrower, Acid, Scream, Resolve, Phalanx, Imprisonment, Angel's Flight and Unsheathe. Has a range triple that of shockwave and gains 5 mana for each unit hit. Costs 40 mana.
Normal attack - Matter Distortion - Gently swings the sheathed sword at an enemy unit dealing 24 damage and 4 to any unit touching. Range of magic blast. Costs 5 mana.
Special Ability - Angel's Flight - Wings sprout from his back and allows him to fly over all units with a doubled speed+sight and an infinite amount of mana for the duration of both players turns but resorts back once the effect has ended. No damage/effect can be inflicted or recieved (apart from ranged) during his time and it absorbs 10 mana from any unit flown over. Costs 50 mana.
Researched Ability - Imprisonment - Traps all surrounding units in a transparant, golden circle including self. Units can move and attack within it but no interaction is allowed with the rest of the map. Effect lasts for 2 turns. Costs 70 mana.
Researched Ability - Unsheathe - When executed, Harvir will grasp the hilt of the sword for one turn to charge his attack. During this time, any damage done to him will be halved. Next turn, he will not be able to move or do any attack other than defend and after defending he unsheaths and sheathes his sword at the speed of light, instantly killing all surrounding units. Range is that of the walking distance of a knight. Costs 50 mana.

Normal attack - Melee attack - Attacks enemy with noobishness causing them to laugh and regain health.
Special Ability - Gun - Fails miserably to pull the trigger with his stick arm. Range is 0 cuz he sucks at aiming (he's from stick arena). Costs 100 mana.
Researched Ability - Hack - Attempts to hack BoB assuming it's as gay as stick arena and gets owned by Moonkey and his legion of admins. Costs 0 mana (It's hacking...).

Normal attack - FTW - Gains control of one enemy unit for a turn. Target returns to enemy side at the end of your turn. If WTW is active, they are permanantly switched to your side until it's death or enemy uses FTW to cancel the effect. No range. Costs 60 mana.
Normal attack - FFS - Swears at the enemy in elvish and shoots a blast of fire at the enemy dealing 20 damage for 3 turns and 5 damage for 3 turns to any enemy unit that comes into contact during that time.. Has a range of an archers arrow. Costs 30 mana.

Researched Ability - WTW - N00B is encased with a wainbow light. All attacks double in strength (including BTW) and are halved in mana. Lasts for 3 turns and cannot be used again until the effect has ended. After wainbow power is depleted, N00B is consumed in it's awesomeness and dies and no grave is left (what a noob!). Costs 0 mana.
In case you didn't realise, all attacks are related to their names.
W7F is afecktloc. Afecktloc = mexican... sort of xD
WTH is Pwnd.xD, sort of obvious.
FTW is Baronraider. Baron = nobility.
FFS is Brom. Brom = character from Eragon. Swear in elvish = Brisingr. Brisingr means fire and is also a spell.
BTW is Candace. Only female so it's sterotypical that she has a healing ability xD Sorry candace.
WTF is Gilbert. The Hurricane Gilbert is the second worst hurricane in the atlantic that hit the Carribean in 1988 and went up to about 196350 miles in area. It did billions in damages.
WTW is Me. WTW = What the Wainbow?
Also, nothing to do with what I just said, the special abilities of each character is ALWAYS either an attack that effects itself or an area effect. (Area heal, Cloaking, Battle Cry, Empower, Scout)

Also for Afecktloc, you should've done a '=00=' move or something, or a SA move :P.
Well at first the take control of enemy attack was going to be for you (you got pwnd, you got ownd) but then it was hard to pick something for baron so I did that for you instead.
Oh and as for afecktloc, I got something better :D

Special Ability - Chicken Wing - Heals 50 health by eating. Costs 50 mana
Researched Ability - BLING! BLING! - Light reflects off his grill to blind all enemies in range giving them 40% less attack for 3 turns. Costs 80 mana

Bling bling is a little strong don't you think...? Range should be small like bolas range and it should only be for 2 turns. Or 3 turns and osting 100 mana.

These character creations are starting to get a little out of hand. A lot of your guys' characters are getting pretty strong.
There has to be a weakness to your characters. :P
All mine are fair... except Stick Arena Champion but he's just epic. N00B is quite overpowered too but he does have weaknesses... but his other attacks make up for em... Ok fine, apart from n00b and stick arena champion, completely fair.
Zombie is fair. Martyr is definately fair, if not underpowered. Harvir is slightly overpowered but not that badly, he has strong attack but BIG weaknesses like having to wait a turn to charge up an attack and cannot move while doing so, meaning the enemy can just get out the target area... unless they are frozen :D

The Harvir you made is way overpowered, lol. But then again so is every character that people made after theirselves, including mine.
I woudln't say he is overpowered. More of a double edged sword.
ONE damage as base damage so if there is no mana... useless...
Aurablast is like shockwave but sends them further but NO damage.
Dispel is an overpowered attack especially since you get mana from it but its effect is only useful in certain situations AND it's affects you as well and since it has a large range it will hit some of your units too.
Matter Distortion is basically fireball but not as strong. It's mana cost is way less though but its the attack that makes up for the base damage. The knight does 30 damage without using any mana and this uses half of what you get that turn but it has splash damage and LITTLE range.
Angel's flight is a special ability so is going to be a bit better but its basically like cloaking except you can go over people and you CAN'T do any damaging attacks and it costs mana unlike cloaking.
Imprisonment can trap your units in too AND it traps HARVIR in too so very likely to die if more than one other enemy is locked inside with just you. Plus it costs the same mana as protect while all it really is, is a freeze that works for 2 turns on multiple people but that also includes your own.
Unsheathe costs 50 mana but they can just walk out of the range of the attack while it's chargin so it's ok...

Normal attack-Myghty omega cut: 40 of damage to every unit is near him
cost:20 mana
Normal attack-Final Myghty attack:50 of damage to multiple units whit a 15% of chance of kill them instantly and a 25% of do 75 of damage.
cost:30 mana
Passive Ability-Myghtiness: recovers 10 of healt and mana of every turn and reduces enemy's damage by a random number betwen when he gets its1-15
Special Ability -Omega blast: Deals 75 damage to eveyone on a huge aura
cost:50 mana
Researched Ability -R.I.P
Removes of the game all died and resecuted units,and kills just one thing you want everytime you use this.

To Harvir:one of his attacks cost 5 mana, so he will always be able to do a mana attack.
To Everyone:The game has no randomness. Like percentage to kill or added random damage. Its like chess...sorta.
To Dako,
I'ts just as strong as the knights MELEE and it makes up for his base damage.

Ok, it's now only 24 and 4 splash damage. Oh and there was another difference between this and Fireball: In fireball they don't have to be exactly touching. WIth this they do.

Build level 1 Sentry Gun: 80 mana
sentry gun has 100 health. It does 20 damage to an enemy unit that walks within its range. The attack is done after the enemy unit moves but before it performs an action.
Build Dispenser: 70 mana
Dispenser has 100 health. Any friendly unit that walks past the dispenser heals 20 health and mana.
Build Teleporter Entrance or Exit: 60 mana
entrances and exits have 80 hp.
A unit can walk up to a teleporter and have the option to appear at the exit.
Upgrade Sentry: 80 mana.
Makes sentry more powerful
level 2: 130 hp, 30 damage
level 3: 160 hp, 35 damage
Repair: 20 mana
Building regains 25 hp.

lol zee i really like yours... although i think it needs one other skill.
capture -allows you to capture an enemy sentry or teleporter sentry lvl 1 & 2 take 1 turn but lvl 3 takes 2 turns.
the dispenser should also give 10 health and 10 mana to the destroyer(within a small area)
and zee since when were you back?

oh that sucks...
I think the dispenser should be 20 health and power for any unit touching it each turn. I don't get what you mean by walk past it.
It would be an awesome unit but seems to be eating at power too much so I would add something like:
Scavenger - Searches around for ammo. Gains 30 extra mana next turn but takes 1.5x damage.
Oh and level 3 sentry needs its rockets with splash damage >:D

Normal attack - Rage: Repeatedly slashes at enemy, causing 35% damage to existing enemy health.
Costs 40 mana.
Normal attack - Fear: Causes such fear to an enemy, it paralyzes him for one turn.
Costs 60 mana.
Researched Ability - Fury: Unleashes the fury of the netherworld, causing 70 damage to all enemies in the area (size similar to mage's shockwave) also causes 35 damage to self.
Costs 100 mana

This is a joke character but I tried to make it fair by giving him a moderate health but low speed and sight and having no truly strong attack but some that can do a lot of damage for little mana.

Description: Oozman the Legendary... stepping forth from the vast reaches of the world to own all.
Normal attack - Melee attack - Attempts to push target... and fails.
Normal attack - Don't mess ya! - Starts "trying" to insult target, causing the target to pity his redundancy and deal 50% less damage to him. If the attack fails, it causes the target to anger and deal 50% extra damage to him. Lasts 2 turns. Costs 40 mana.
Normal attack - "Knock ya' out" - Punches target 10 times dealing 10 damage per hit. Has a 30% chance of hitting. Costs 25 mana.
Normal attack - Cuzzy Brow! - Bends over and charges at enemy crazily dealing 60 damage. Has a 50% chance of missing and falling over, dealing 20 damage to himself. Has a range of charge. Costs 40 mana.
Special Ability - OOZY! - Increases chance of attacking target by 30% and adds a 50% chance of doing 20 extra damage. Lasts for 3 turns. Costs 30 mana.

Mana Attack - Bile: Loomer throws up on enemy and any other enemy close to it summoning 2 zombies per person dealing 10 damage a hit each that slow the enemy unit by 80 percent until killed. Takes one hit to kill. Costs 100 mana.
Area Attack - Spawn - Allows Loomer to respawn anywhere visible on the map, not in visible view of the enemy. Also causes Boomer to regenerate 10 extra mana a turn until dead. Cannot stack. Costs 0 mana.
Research Attack - Explode - Causes Loomer to explode, spraying Bile on everyone around. Costs 0 mana.

I lol'd at that for a good minute. We should've drawn mediocre doodles in MSPaint for all our characters for Jazza. XD
Anywho, it's been a while since we've had any new characters, so I thought I'd throw another one in here.
KNIGHT
Statistics:
Base damage: 35
Hit Points: 120
Speed: Fast/medium
Sight: Average
Abilities:
Adrenaline - Gives a 20% speed boost for 3 turns, costs 20 mana, and is only available when on horse*
Thrust - Gives the reach equivalent to Whirlwind, costs 50 mana, but does only 25 damage
Divinity (Training hall upgrade) - When the knight defends, it lasts for two turns, which means that he can defend, attack, and still be defended. It only costs 60 mana. :o
*The knight starts out on a horse. Once the knight gets to 80hp or below, the horse dies and the knight is left on foot. 80hp - knight / 40hp - horse The horse can be healed.

In britain it's just become more potent. Before, the only person to die was a sick pregnant lady but now there are more.
A few people I know have had it.
But swine flu really isn't that big a deal. THey're already producing jabs for it and the symptoms for swine flu and much weaker than normal flu. Also, although the numbers of cases are a lot less, normal flu kills thousands of people a year. Swine flu is much less in comparison. The only worry about swine flu was if it mutated into something more harmful while we didn't have any vaccinations or the like.
Anyway... back on topic.
