Mod bonuses?

I activated the mods 'lights out' and 'meteor storm', hoping for the promised extra end of level bonus, but I've never seen one.

Has anyone ever seen the bonus? Is it invisible? Does it exist?

If you go into options>cheats and mods, you can enter passwords for certain cheats. The two mods on the right (that create an obscene amount of meteors and that create perpetual darkness) claim to give you an extra end-of-level boost.

I'm looking for that boost, it's avoiding me.

It depends on which difficulty you're playing the game in. There is a bonus for all modes, but if you play it on easy or medium, you won't see much of a bonus.
Try playing on higher difficulties, there always should be a visible increase of points.
