That's a great way to gain our sympathy.

Any sound editor (like Audacity) will change your voice. Record something and then play around with pitch and filters. If you're looking for something that changes it on the fly, you might have to search a while. Try websites for voice messenger services (like the Skype forums). I don't know any free programs right now.

Realtime editing can be done with a mixing console, because computers can't edit in realtime.

Have fun!

My sound card can do real time voice manipulation, but yeah, you need hardware to do it most likely.

You can download Ableton live's trial. It's completely everything, you just cant save of export. And Ableton Live has pitch changing abilities, as well as real time streaming. Make sure your soundcard has low enough latency so that it doesnt lag too much.

But pitch changing isnt where it's at, gangster. Try downloading a freeware talkbox vst plug in once you downlaod ableton. Set the mic to the left input of it and the keyboard (either midi or the very keyboard you type with) hooked up to a synth as the right in. then you can talk and play, and whatever key is pressed on the keyboard changes the pitch of your voice to that note. The bad part is it can't sound like a real voice unless you find some perfect synth that makes it sound like a voice (the clarinet instrument got close to sounding normal).
