...at the expense of Microsoft.

If you use the Windows Live Messenger program and live in the United States, take a look at this.

and

In essence, Microsoft will donate one cent for every message you send to the charity of your choice if you put a code in front or at the end of your name.

The charities are as follows:

* American Red Cross -- ready to help, code = *red+u
* Boys & Girls Clubs of America -- providing a positive place for kids, code = *bgca
* National AIDS Fund -- fighting AIDS, code = *naf
* National MS Society -- joining the MS movement, code = *mssoc
* ninemillion.org -- helping 9 million refugee kids, code = *9mil
* Sierra Club -- exploring and protecting the planet, code = *sierra
* StopGlobalWarming.org -- stopping global warming, code = *help
* Susan G. Komen for the Cure -- finding the cure, code = *komen
* UNICEF -- helping kids survive, code = *unicef

So after you put that in your name, spam each other like hell for charity. D:!

I'm using the American Red Cross one.

Anyway, thought some of you might be interested. ;)

Cool, now I don't have to feel like a total douche all the time when I use messengers. Just slightly less like one. I'll definitely check this out, thanks.

I was about to say the same exact thing. =[

Too bad I don't use Windows Live messenger.

At 1 cent per message and a 20+ billion dollar enterprise, this'll need a whole army of bots.
