I don't know. I currently have a Playstation 2, but I'm kinda miffed that they couldn't come up with a better name than "PS3". It's the most unoriginal thing ever. But, because of the backwards compatibility, I guess I have to get it.

I honestly don't care about the 360. It's ugly, and Halo is overrated. PS3 and Revolution are gonna own Microsoft, even if it does come out first. So what if it comes out first, whoopdeedoo, doesn't mean it's the best, now does it.

SP added the backlit screen, which is awesome.

Micro is kinda lame, but it's aimed at the image-conscious iPod type.


Revolution sounds totally amazing, and I'm very much looking forward to it. PS3 seems interesting, not amazing, but interesting. But it's gonna have Metal Gear Solid 4, so I'll have to get it. There's nothing about Xbox 360 that I find particularly interesting.

No, the Revolution is being released before E3 next year. In fact, the Revolution is being released before the PS3. They've said that one of the main reasons they didn't sell out in North America is becuase it was released after the PS2.

All "kiddie" games from Nintendo, and funny graphics from them (-_- can't even REMEMBER the Link game.) For every 20 E rated games, they release 1 T rated game.... and maybe something higher than that.
Still, as long as your computer can support it...

1] GC graphics actualy > the PS2 graphics. if you read the specs of each machine u'd know that.
2] how can the GBS > the GBASP? The SP had a recharable batter and a backlight. It saved on cash and let you use it in the dark. sorry dude but SP > GBA
3] u understand that E doesnt mean 'for kids' it means everyone. Lets see, I own like 8+ E games and cant wait for Mario Baseball. I saw the demo, and it look like mad fun.

A backlit screen actually shows up worse than a non-backlit one. Then I got a thing which attached to the back of the GBA and folded over to protect it which was a light...

The GameCube is more powerful than the PS2. I own both, and the graphics in games like Resident Evil 4 are much better than those in, say, Metal Gear Solid 2 (some of the best graphics on PS2). But, I'm one of those weird folks who doesn't really care about graphics that much, and I actually like MGS2 better than RE4... I'm a big Metal Gear fan...

Nintendo does make a ton of E rated games, but so what? They're extremely fun. That's what I look for in a videogame, so I love Nintendo games.

I'm also one of those freaks that thinks Halo is just a good game. Not good enough to make me buy a system for it though.

I agree with EMC there. Wind Waker was an incredibly fine game. Sure, it looked a little silly in the pictures, but in action, it was beautiful. Extremely fun, too.

360 is what I want, but sadly playing on XBL still will cost money, you can make a sn and such but the games you have to pay to play. But yeah, Halo 3 sounds awesome, afer the first two it can't not be :p

And the GC is an incredible system, RE4 was one of the most beautiful, from a aeshetic(sp?), point of view, games I've seen, so detailed and wonderful looking

And graphics make the game nowadays, no one watches a commercial on TV and goes "Wow, 8-bit graphics I'm gonna make sure I keep track of this game"

But.... if the console is more powerful and the graphics are better then its gonna cost more to make the games (like millions more) and so companies really aren't gonna waste money making crappy games, so we'll have less games..but better games:D
