This forum, as in, the NHF, is for asking questions, any questions that you don't exactly know or understand, that pretty much any member can answer.
XGen's forums as a whole are for the members, us desperately sad people who encourage hermit colonies.
A 'newb' is a slang term for the word newcomer. One who is new to the forums. Do not mix this up with 'n00b', a similarily pronounced term, generally one used to insult.

l337 - [leet] Same as "sweet".
0wn, pwn - To dominate or do something amazing
CS jargon
Goblin Nade - Die, then kill your killer with your dropped grenade after your death, a.k.a. Killing Past the Grave
Knifed - To be killed with a knife (quite humiliating in a shooter game)
