Female's Role in the Modern Society

People these days put too high of a price on specialized labor unions designed specifically for the modernized world. I believe that it is the women's right to take responsibility for the forceful actions imposed by sanity wards. Therefore it is hereby mentioned that only those specified in the group's documents deserves the dental plans and other benefits associated with the position. Although these postitions are just figure heads in reality. I think that they should be strictly limited to funding by the government.

What are your thoughts?

I find it a bit odd that everyone so desperately wants to change our social structure. I mean, I'm all for women's rights and all, but saying "I'm a woman, I HAVE to have a job" is sort of going overboard. Judt like forcing companies to have a female quota. Our society survives because there are people that do what they do best in the right places. Women just happen to be a whole lot better when it comes to housekeeping, raising children, and so on and so forth. Why see it as something less than working some 9 to 5 job?

Keeping the household running is at least just as important as earning money, to be honest. If they want to work, go right ahead, no one's stopping you, but remember that our birth rate is suffering (whereas it is thriving in the middle east due to old-fashioned social structures and women's role "baby-making-machine"), our households are suffering, families are being torn apart because both partners are stressed out, no one has time for the kids, and so on. If that's the price for equal opportunities, then by god I don't know if I want it.

It's a mentality problem, really. Something in us that says "standing at home infront of the stove is nowhere near as good as working somewhere for money" is causing all the problems. What needs to happen? A mentality shift or a class where men can learn decent housekeeping and how to bear babies. Which is really not going to happen, so mentality shift might be better.

In pre-Industrial societies, women do household work because it is more compatable with childcare, and men are not...equipped to take care of young children (in many societies, children are breast-fed until they're seven). Also, because hunting can be dangerous, it makes more sense to have the men do it, because you only need a few men to ensure the survival of a community. Women are more important to the continuation of the species.
