I don't know if I'm just really rusty, or they changed how the formula works, but I think it's a bit harder.
I've had two instances where I was near death, already. And this is by myself, so the difficulty is set for just one person. I actually really needed to invest in a lot Craftsmen or I would't be able to keep up.
Again, I could just be rusty. Don't know.
Later a friend of mine is comming over and I'll see if he wants to go two player.

If you're not sure if you're rusty or not, try the original one on PC. Then again, the controllers are different.
The first review we've seen, on NintendoWiiFanboy.com, gives the game a 9/10.
"For a 500 Wii Point game, you'd be insane not to give Defend Your Castle a download. The game is fun, very accessible and has almost no learning curve...XGen Studios have created a great WiiWare offering and we're sure your life will be better for having downloaded Defend Your Castle. "

That is awesome. If I had a Wii I would get DYC for sure. Are you guys done* with the Wii ware? I hear that's why Ballistic was pushed back...again.

Its not being pushed back, it takes time to make a good game.
I read the review, sounds great. Now I just need 500 Wii points.

Wired likes it: http://blog.wired.com/games/2008/05/wiiware-impress.html
"This classic browser game, re-imagined for WiiWare, is proof that price matters. At $10, I'd be very cautious about recommending this casual game to any and all Wii owners. But at $5, it's totally worth it. Defend Your Castle's simple gameplay mechanics might not make for an especially deep experience, but it's got that addictive, why-am-I-still-doing-this factor that makes for a great casual browser game, with the benefit of Wiimote control."
They even praise the price point in the pop review:
"All the same, I have to say that if Defend Your Castle is $5, so should Pop be on the lower tier of WiiWare pricing."

Other than it's a repetitive, redigested idea? o.O
I view this with the same criticism that I view N+ with. I'd have hoped for something more Wii-ish than just replacing a mouse with a wiimote, but to each his own.
