How do you make events on the calendar? I see all of you guys making your own little holidays, but I can't seem to find out how you're doing it.

How do you make it a birthday event? I haven't figured that out yet.

Birthdays are automatically added by entering your date of birth into your profile.

Be sure not to make any errors in entering information, or else people will think mother's day is early this year.
Speaking of the calendar, I think it would be in the best interest of the Moderators to set up some sort of rules about it. Several members (Kerry, David and Ryan, for example) have been filling it.

Yeah, Kerry put up a ranged event for her summer vacation. What the hell is up with that? WE KNOW THAT WE ARE ON VACATION. WE DON'T NEED TO BE REMINDED.

What she should have done, in my opinion, is markthe start and end dates, rather than ranging two and a half months. It's very disruptive if we all do that.

People do add events, but clicking their name is a link to their profile. The ones with the cakes are birthdays, direct profile links.
