Tromp, smash and dominate the countryside; one unit at a time. Warlords: Call to Arms (http://www.xgenstudios.com/play/warlords/) puts you in command of any of the distinct factions vying for control of the continent. Another great game from Ben Olding.
Speculation has risen (http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1584945/20080407/id_0.jhtml) concerning rumors that Microsoft has their own version of Nintendo's Wii Remote in development. Including a rough sketch provided by the 'source' that looks eerily close to the device that millions have Wii fans have come to love. Only time will tell if this 'leak' has any validity.
Speaking of affection for Nintendo, this person (http://www.popgive.com/2008/04/when-someone-is-nintendo-fan.html) clearly has a level of devotion bordering on jabbering insanity.

Man that's one big collection. No games though...
I despise that Nintendo fan.

I hate it when other companies jack Nintendo's ideas.
I swear, if Nintendo somehow gets out of the business before Sony or Microsoft, both companies will fail due to lack of innovative concepts.

Ind the beginning, there was the Wii. Then, from the depths of China, came the Vii. Now, in the shadows lurks a new beast. The Microsoft Xii

^ Awesome post.
I am going to be very frustrated if this is going to be true.
Warlords is a pretty fun game, played it on Kongregate before it came to XGen.

The game is far to slow, not very fun.

And far too repetitive.
And I doubt Microsoft will be able to capitalize on the idea anyway. I mean, Sony has it's SixAxis and that seems to be more of a novelty than an actual design staple. I don't think Microsoft will do much better. The people that buy an XBox either already have a Wii or simply don't want to wave around a stick as a replacement for button mashing.
Not that too many games have really properly used the Wiimote as more than just a novelty, but that's not important right now.

Good, now developers will be able to create a game that has both a fun control scheme and graphics that dont suck ass. </ps3 owner>

Are you kidding me?
Some kid could have just made that in paint, then given it to MTV with some story.
It's fake.

Since when does a single LED light give off four different colors?

MAGICLED.
I'm curious why you need an LED in 4 colors anyway. One is enough for a sensor bar. And technically, it's not even a "color", it's infrared. At least my Wiimote doesn't (visibly) glow in the dark.

Great graphics wouldn't save most of the games on the Wii anyway, considering some of the crap that's come out of it. Ironically, great graphics haven't saved most of the crappy games on the XBox360 and/or the PS3 either. So your argument is sort of... null.
GTA4 with a Wiimote-ish thing could be quite amusing, however, given the plethora of things you can do.

That controller wouldn't even work well anyway, it would be impossible to hit the a,x,b, and y buttons, and it doesn't have an xbox guide button

Warlords is amazing. I completed it in a few hours.
There should be more land to occupy.
