Yes, that's right. NIN is pulling a Dashboard Confessional and giving away their album. If you go to their website, you can get a free album-length download. There are also several other physical configurations that are available. The website is down right now, but NIN put up torrents on Mininova and other sites.

I knew Trent had that idea for at least a year.

That being said, I'm going to get Ghosts I when I get the chance. If I like it, I wouldn't mind putting $5 down for the rest.

I would download but I already have the entire Collection so there's really no point.

Well, I got done listening to the first part, and I think it's actually pretty good. Yes, there's no vocals, but come up with your own interpretation.

If you weren't really a fan of the Fragile tho, you may disagree with me.

When you quote something the tag is opened without anyone pressing the tag.

You don't need to quote the entire long post when making a simple reply which most people would interpret as responding to the OP

So don't post stupid like that, kthx

I may buy the $300 version as a gift for my friend. If I somehow find a way to raise 300 bucks before 2500 other people.

Hmm, I wonder why none of the bands I like ever give away their albums for free...

Oh, yeah, now I remember, it's because you can only do that if you're mainstream enough to raise enough money to sell out on tours and ####. So some people oughta shut up about this being the new way of selling music, cause if it is, all we'll be listening is poppy stuff like Radiohead and NiN.

Look at me, I hate mainstream music.

:P

^tl;dr version

But actually...

Other than me hating mainstream music, I'm fine with the people who listen to it. I'm NOT fine with people saying that every band should give away their songs for free.
