Imagine if you had no idea it was a video game. ;)

Final Fantasy XXX will be the first Final Fantasy game that will be exclusive to Microsoft's Games for Windows program, since AO rated games can't be on Sony's Playstation lineup, Nintendo's consoles, or Microsoft's xbox series.

Wrong even if they decide to make it that kind of game. You forget the game series Leisure Suit Larry.

Hopefully not make one, when you're working on the 14th installment of a game maybe you should consider a fresh series.

Just out of curiosity, do the gameplay mechanics ever change in FF games? Or are they all the same turn based affair with different moves?

Which was only rated M on consoles. There were censored bits all over the place.
The AO version was PC only, and you could only get it via the internet. I don't think any physical retailer sold it.

I must have missed that.

This is just my opinion, and I usually get blasted for it, but I think Final Fantasy (well all turn-based combat) makes for a pretty boring game.

the AO console version was only sold in Japan, and Europe maybe.

I think Gamespot would make this their review summary:
The only things enjoyable about Final Fantasy XXX are the graphics and sex scenes, but the gameplay shows its age.

Wow. It took them 13 games to do that? Pathetic.

Paper Mario had that in the first one.

Besides, they should just rename it Not-Even-Close-To-The-Final Fantasy.

In all due fairness, I would like to point out that Paper Mario didn't come out untill FF8-ish, and well, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Quite possibly, And the pornographic nature of FFXXX will make sony fanboys cry because of Sony's policies on games rated Adults Only and complain about not wanting to buy a high-end gaming computer just for one game. In the end, Microsoft, Dell, nVidea, Intel, and AMD will still profit off of FFXXX.

I'm surprised Sony didn't have it immediately copied.
