ONCE AND FOR ALL, TELL US why do we lose units when we beat a level

The reason you lose units when you finsih a level is UPKEEP.
There is a cost for each unit you have when you finish a level. You must have enough points left over from the LAST level to sustain the units you have when you finish the CURRENT level.

EG.
You finish stage 10 and spend all your points
You train 8 archers in stage 11
When you finish the level, you need to pay upkeep with the points you
had at the end of the LAST level. Since you had 0 points, you lose
all of your archers.

here's the price for the people
archers=200 points each
wizards=200 points each
craftsman=50 points each

why is it that i have enough cash for upkeep yet my units still die at the end of a round? Its gets to be a massive pain in the higher levels (aka past 10)

u have to have enough cash before that level starts. but heres how skye says it

I lose archer units for no reason. I don't get that much upkeep, my castle has been touched for a few times (I had to get a group so I don't have to drag and drop).

i have like hundreds of thousands of usable points and total score. I am still losing upkeep even though i have more than enough and dont spend any money!!!!!!!!!!!!
