Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (January 16, 2008) -- XGen Studios Inc., acclaimed developer of browser-based games, revealed today that it is an authorized developer for Wii™, Nintendo's home console. XGen Studios is developing an original title for Nintendo's upcoming WiiWare™ service, slated for release alongside the platform in Early 2008.

While I think it's totally pro that you guys will be developing a WiiWare title, I really hope this wont be a port of flash game we can already get for free right here at XGen.
Please make somethiing original.

at <´+Ø_Ø+`>, WiiWare is supposed to officially launch in March with a handfull of titles. Dev kits have been around for a while now and it wouldn't be farfetched to assume XGen already had one for a little while. I wouldn't be surprised if they already had a working version of whatever it is they're making.
I just hope it's not a port....

The Internet Channel, Everybody Votes Channel, The Metroid Prime 3 Demo Channel are all avalible for download there.

Do not confuse this with the Virtual Console, however. They are 2 completely separate things.

WiiWare is the section of the Virtual Console that you can download wii-specific games and features, such as the Internet browser and original games.

Anyways, this is good news. Expect tha majority of wii owners on this forum to buy it :)

XGen does have alot of fans, wow.

I was at my library yesterday and I saw two kids play PTV they looked like they were having fun.
