I just registered 2day, and could som1 tell me what the little rank-like thing under peoples' names (i.e. Junior member) are, and how to raise/change them

They are your rank title things. I don't remember the technical term. When you post more, they change after a certain number of posts. I don't know what those certain numbers are.

As an alternative to making posts, breaking numerous rules should also change your title. If you like the word "Banned," then that's the title for you!

Examples:
1: 1 word post ie. "lol
2: has nothing to do with the topic ie "help me with SRPG!" "i like baseball"
3: typing in caps or in L337 talk "1 PWN3D U N00B"
4: asking questions that have been answered a hundred times ie: "how do you be president?"
