I've been wondering for quite some time now, is there any possible way to burn Flash games to disks after you've finished building them? I'd like to develope a few simple games and put them on floppies or compact disks to run on computers. Is this possible? And if so, is it a practical thing to do?

Yep, just like any other file. I did it for an English Project earlier this year. Just need a 3rd party burning program. I used infra recorder because that's what I had, any will do.
They wont fit on floppies I wouldn't think but CD's and DVD's easily. I wouldn't know about floppies, I never use them.

If the storage medium is large enough, then you can put any kind of media onto it. Specifically regarding floppy disks, if the Flash is under 1.44 MB (or whatever size you have), then it will work.

You may need to launch a browser like Internet Explorer first and then hit File >> Open to get your SWF to work correctly on another system.

It also works on regular games with flash drives.

My friend copied Unreal Tournament 2003 on to a flash drive and played it on the school computers.

If you want the flash as a stand-alone file, without a dependancy on the host computer's flash player version, select 'Windows Projector' under the publish options.

This will create an EXE with your flash in, however it's a little bigger than just an SWF.

You can do that? Thanks, that'll be helpful to know.
