Thanks for the update Skye - it's much appreciated. I'll be interested to see how well the security holds up for you and I'm slightly puzzled by the idea of maintaining a "free for all" version of the game; won't that just consume server resources?
Either way, it's your call as the developer. Whatever it is, I'll suport it. Can't wait for the release.

This is going to be a free game? I thought it would be like Goldium or XGen Classics- on a disk you need to pay for.

A robust feature list, as well as a few unforeseen opportunities, are to blame. We were approached by a studio in 2006 to assist with programming the GUI for an upcoming, highly anticipated, AAA XBox 360 title; an opportunity we had a difficult time turning down. With this project and Pillage the Village wrapped up, we’re back into full production on Ballistick - The expansion is looking fantastic, and we’re confident that fans will agree it was well worth the wait.
A 360 title? I wonder what it was...

Hi - thanks to everyone for the compliments. I was not sure what the minor thread topic of the calendar comes from. I looked again and it says the 19th on my site. Where did you see the 29th? I will change it.

Nice interview. Its always good to see skye do an interview and inform us about updates to the game. Until I see interviews to remind me he is human, I always just think of him as part of the internet that makes games and manages a community.

Sadly though they said it will be released on the main site. This is smart I guess. This way it reaches to everyone and not just members on the forums.

SB: Although Ballistick is closer to a v2.0 than a simple expansion, we’ll port all existing user accounts and statistics over. We know that our players have invested a lot of time invested into their accounts, and we’ll make sure players can log into those accounts from Ballistick

They didnt, they just got contacted to to the GUI. Or at least to my understanding.

I thought they did do it. They finish the GUI, they stop working on the game, even if other elements arn't finished. Thats for others to worry about.

They said they are transferring account data over.. Although what they should do is make two servers. One for old accounts, and one for fresh starts. That way, some people can keep their old work, but the new server will show how people are with the new features.

Pets, though it is very likely you will have to improvise on this one.

Because you don't create games. you don't know what work they put into these games. They don't get paid to make ballistick(I think people pay to use mmocha) They have jobs. They will release it when it is done.

Well, I've never even seen Robyn play, much less come on SA. And as for Danny, I have had the honor of playing before (but i got no screenie to prove :( )
So yes,I definitely would buy tickets to watch that happen.....if they made us pay to view. Lawl...

Wow, it looks amazing and I'm excited about the map editor. I used to have to do it with a program that I'm pretty sure wasn't released by you guys.
