C'mon, I've probably seen 4 episodes of Star Trek, but even I get this one.

the second image is an overlay, probably because of a satalite that google does not have permission to display. no clue what the first is.

It'll do something. Probably reveal the name of the object.

The first looks like something that got infront of the lens. Although I'm curious what small blue object would be flying around in space... Maybe just an edited image or a malfunction.
Something google's not allowed to depict? o.O Do we have fully armed battlestations in space now? Maybe another malfunction. The signal might have been mixed with another one on it's way back to earth. Mixed with a radio transmission of a carpet...
Russia probably has a death star up there.

The first time i heard about this was on holiday in Venice. I saw it on CNN, saying "Google launches "Sky", -_______________________-" Ignore the last part.
I wonder how FAR you can go into space...

You can go pretty far in space. I've heard it's pretty big.

First one is probably some sort of internal reflection in the telescope from a light source nearly parallel to the lens.
My guess, anyway.
Second one isn't regularly distorted, so I'm guessing it's some sort of malfunction.
Just Guesses.

The flight simulator is the most epic thing. You can actually land the plane (something I've only managed once though).
