Downloadable?

Will PtV ever be downloadable? I would really like to play this game with no lag. The current lag is not really a big deal, but no lag would make the name a lot more enjoyable...

Or perhaps there is a way to download it and I am just blind?

The lag is likely due to your computer than your connection. A downloadable version would really only decrease load time (to my knowledge).

My computer is fine:


Windows XP
512 MB Ram
Pentium 4, 2 GHZ
512 MB Graphics card

My internet connection is also fine, Rogers highspeed, cabled not wireless...

of course theres gonna be a downloaded version, but you probbaly have to buy it at the shop

This game is really CPU and RAM intensive. Try turning quality down to medium, Subzero.

Wow, you're computer specs are pretty much the same as mine. mine is 2.5 ghz though.

"Lag" in PtV doesnt have to do with being hosted online, other than the cpu slowdown inherently associated with the flash activex plugin.

It has not been fully decided if there will be a download version.
