Sit ups, crunches... Just random exercises that tone your stomach.
Go jogging every day. I'm not much of an 'exercise fanatic', but that's what I do and I look decent.

Go for a jog first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, it burns fat directly.

As opposed to running right after you've eaten, which would make perfect sense even if it did burn fat directly >.>

No, running after you've eaten burns the calories you just took in with the food you ate. Running on an empty stomach uses your stored fat as energy, therefore it is proven that it burns more fat.

I meant that if you're not running after you've eaten you'll get cramps.

Eat little, jog lots.
On that diet I've lost 60 pounds in about 3 months.
When you jog, make a preset goal "I want to get from point A to B in X amount of time". 4 or 5 mph is a good pace for a long run.
Total is the greatest food for dieting. Period. 100% of 13 vitamins and minerals, 100 calories (excluding the milk), and none from fat (excluding the milk). Eat a small bowl of it each day, then small amounts of meat (Total doesn't have much protein) whenever your tummy starts rumbling. And ONLY when your tummy starts rumbling.
On top of that, situps. Crunches are for panzies. Do situps in the hundreds.

Sit ups are for people who don't understand how much they don't help the abdomen.

Any ab exercise can work the abdomen, some are better than others, but no matter how many crushes, sit ups, or any other ab exercise you do, you will not burn off fat from your stomach.
Ab exercises only strengthen your abs, they do not burn fat.
If you want to burn fat, do cardio, not ab exercises.

So he should starve himself, and stimulate a job with alot of physical extertion, except he doesn't get paid, or fed?
Huh.... (http://www.unb.ca/web/transpo/mynet/pyramids.jpg)
:P
-Didn't read anything buy first post-
Run when you wake up. Since you will not have ingested any carbs, etc., you will lose pure body fat.

Exactly like that!
If you survive my plan, you will have abs that will amaze and awe people for thousands of years to come. Much like the pyrimads.
And yes, situps do not burn fat. Well.... they sort of do. Any physical activity that can make you sweat will burn fat. But situps just don't burn fat well.
But unless you want to end up being UNDERweight, you have to work out the abs to conceal the small amounts of fat that will still be there.

Now, I'm not fat, but I want to work towards a nice set of washboard abs.
How long should I run in the morning in order to really lose a decent amount of fat? I'm also going to do leg lifts and pushups, if someone would be kind enough to tell me what's the best amount to do, I'd be really appreciative. :)

If you can get your hands on some Adderall, it will really help you lose weight.

Don't use drugs. You don't want all the side effects that you'll be getting.
*cough*zbooy*cough*
How is biking compared to running in the morning? I'd think biking would be focused on the legs more than running, and I'm a soccer player so that would help me more.

If you want a great ab workout, do 1 minute, 2 minute, then 1 minute sets of Russian Twists.
Here is a diagram:

Now, instead of what this guy is doing, cross your feet and lift your legs so you are balancing on your ass.
Now, move with your hands together from left to right, touching the floor on either side. Move with your hands, don't let them be the only thing that is moving. Kind of like this:

Kind of like that, but make your fingertips touch the floor, and make sure your legs are up.

Jog until you taste sweat and do pushups and leg lifts until you can't anymore.

dom im not disagreeing with you, cause i dont truely know.
but are you sure about that? because the calories you eat after you exercise that you dont burn will turn into fat, so wont it have the same effect either way? running before or after eating

The calories you eat after exercise differ. They can be strait calories from food intake, or fat calories. You need food, we all know that, but your fat content depends on the amount of fat content you eat. After a workout, it is good to take in three times as much protein as carbs. Never have more than 40 grams of protein in one sitting - your body cannot process it and it is wasted.
When you run on an empty stomach, your body is looking for a food source to burn for energy. When it finds you haven't eaten and there is no food in your system, it switches to it's backup power supply - stored fat.
