Hey, this is my first post, so forgive me if I sound retarded :P

Anyways, I was wondering if someone could code either Castle War, or something like it in Javascript. I recently got a DS Browser and it only runs javascript =\. Just wondering if anyone has enough free time to code this. I know I would love it, and im sure many other people would to :)

My god, I was just asking. By the way, I wasnt asking Xgen to develop another castle wars, I was just asking for someone with a little experience in coding to create a javascript version of the game. Even a game that merely resembles Castle Wars in javascript would be fine.

Why is that so :o ?

A "little" java script experience wouldn't be enough to know how to duplicate a game to from flash to javascpirt. I don't even see if it was possible to do it without the original files exactly. There would be no where to start from the flash, it's a complete redo-over, and it would take a long time.

XGen didnt develop castle wars.

The response you got is because what you're asking is a bit silly and far fetched. And in javascript nonetheless..

God. You know what? Im going to learn javascript right now and make my own version of Castle Wars. I'll post it in a few weeks.

it shouldnt even take that long. If you knoew what you were doing, you could make a card object. Your hand and your opponent's hand would be an array of 6 of those. You could define the difine which cards are possible in a ifferent master array. Then it's 2 variables for your castle and fence, and 2 more for your opponent's castle and fence. All you need to do then is plop in the variables for your resources and link how the cards interact with them.

That might sound a little complex, but as far as programming goes, not too hard. I might try to tackle it, though it might not be done before I leave town tomorrow.

It'd most likely be represented in text, but it might be easy to plug in some images, too. I really dont know why you all are making it sound so impossible.
